Like the best ideas, the idea for Cascade Therapy Billing came from a friend over drinks. She saw the void in the mental health billing industry and knew I could fill it. Cascade Therapy Billing was founded in 2016. Shortly thereafter, it was this specialization (focus on mental health providers) that brought us to the attention of TherapyNotes (the leader in EHR/EMR software for behavioral health). They inquired wondering just what I was doing for all of these providers?! They could see that I had roles on many different installations, and that triggered them to ask the question that would lead to a partnership. Ultimately, it confirmed what we already knew – we were special!

What started with just me, has rapidly grown to a team of 10. Mostly, we work remotely, but that doesn't mean you can't feel like we're just down the hall (without the overhead, of course!). We take great pride in our response rate – getting back to you as soon as possible, but always within 24 hours. You'll never get anyone other than who you're expecting; there's no outsourcing. You'll know exactly who is doing what and when. Without that transparency, it'd be difficult to build the same peace of mind that our clients rave about. We take an individualized approach to each practice, provider and client. It's the right thing to do.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Bacteriology, and a Master’s degree in Education. I have spent many years in research (working on budgets), and education (executive level at a private company) that have provided me a high level of confidence in technology and financial balance sheets. This path set up Cascade Therapy Billing for success. Something that we hope to pass on to your practice, too.
